  6. If you have an access to InterNet (or its subnets NorduNet or
  7. FuNet), and have ftp (file transfer program) capability, you can get
  8. these PD programs from garbo.uwasa.fi archives, University of Vaasa,
  9. Finland, node number 128.214.87.1 by anonymous ftp. If you don't
  10. have ftp, you can use Garbo's mail server. You can inquire for more
  11. information by email from ts@uwasa.fi.

  13. All these programs are included on Robert Bruce's extensive Garbo
  14. CDROM (obtainable eg from Harri Valkama, WasaWare Oy, Palosaarentie
  15. 31, SF-65200 Vaasa, Finland). Furthermore, some of the programs have
  16. appeared as UseNet Binary Postings in comp.binaries.ibm.pc. The
  17. programs are also available from several bulletin boards. Some of
  18. these programs also appear on the PC-SIG shareware library.

  20. The most recent versions are, however, at the University of Vaasa.
  21. This means that using anonymous ftp, or the mail server of
  22. garbo.uwasa.fi, is the best choice, with the CDROM alternative being
  23. the best of the alternatives . (North American users might first
  24. want to try to get these programs from a site near you [e.g. the
  25. Garbo mirror at wuarchive or SIMTEL20] in order not to add to the
  26. load on the overseas link. Likewise the Australian users are might
  27. want to try the archie.au Garbo mirror.)
